They lived “from horse and buggy to landing on the moon” into the technological age. These interviews by newspaper staff and freelancers of Deer Isle-Stonington relatives, friends and neighbors were originally published in Island Ad-Vantages and have been printed together to give readers an enduring—and endearing—glimpse of the Island in an earlier time.
